We're looking for a 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice who's ready to step up, finish their trade and build a long-term career with our team.

If you're nearing the end of your apprenticeship, have recently completed your apprenticeship, or are ready for more responsibility and hands-on experience, we want to hear from you.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving and wants to develop their skills across residential plumbing, maintenance, drainage, emergency work and specialist pipe relining.

The Role

This is a full-time position working alongside an experienced plumbing team across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

You'll gain exposure to a broad range of plumbing work while continuing to develop the skills, confidence and experience needed to become a highly capable tradesperson.

Your day-to-day work may include:

General plumbing maintenance and repairs
Blocked drains and drainage works
CCTV drain inspections and diagnostics
High-pressure water jetting
Leak detection and fault finding
Tap, toilet and fixture repairs and replacements
Hot water system servicing and installation
Sewer and stormwater repairs
Plumbing installations and upgrades
Pipe relining and trenchless pipe repairs
Diagnosing plumbing problems and recommending solutions
Residential and property maintenance work
Emergency plumbing call-outs
Communicating professionally with customers onsite

PIPE RELINING & SPECIALIST TRAINING

As part of the role, you'll also have the opportunity to develop specialist skills in pipe relining and trenchless pipe repair.

We provide hands-on training and the opportunity to gain practical experience with modern pipe relining techniques, equipment and processes.

This can include:

CCTV inspections and identifying damaged or defective pipework
High-pressure jetting and preparing pipes for relining
Pipe cleaning and preparation
Pipe relining equipment and installation techniques
Trenchless repair methods
Relining sewer and drainage systems
Post-reline CCTV inspections and quality checks
Learning how to diagnose drainage problems and determine suitable repair solutions

Previous pipe relining experience is not essential.

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and wants to develop beyond general plumbing into more specialised areas of the trade. Training and guidance will be provided as you develop your experience.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who is currently a 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice and approaching completion of their apprenticeship, or someone who has recently completed their apprenticeship and is ready to take the next step.

You'll ideally have:

Current enrolment in, or recent completion of, a plumbing apprenticeship
Solid practical plumbing knowledge and hands-on experience
A current Australian driver's licence
A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail
Pride in your workmanship
Good communication and customer service skills
The ability to work independently as your experience develops
A willingness to learn and take on greater responsibility
An interest in developing specialist drainage and pipe relining skills
A professional and respectful attitude with customers and other team members

Most importantly, we want someone who wants to become a great plumber, not someone simply looking for their next job.

ALREADY A QUALIFIED TRADESMAN?

We're also interested in hearing from qualified and experienced plumbers who are looking for their next opportunity.

For our qualified tradesman position, we're looking for someone who has:

A minimum of 4 years' plumbing experience
Current and relevant plumbing qualifications/licences
Strong experience in general plumbing maintenance and repairs
Experience and confidence operating high-pressure water jetting equipment
Experience clearing and diagnosing blocked drains
Experience using CCTV drain inspection equipment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
The ability to confidently diagnose plumbing and drainage issues
The ability to work independently and manage jobs onsite
A current Australian driver's licence
Strong communication and customer service skills
High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
A professional, reliable and positive attitude

Experience in pipe relining and trenchless pipe repairs would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

For the right tradesman, we can provide pipe relining training and hands-on development to expand your existing drainage skills into specialised trenchless repair solutions.

We're particularly interested in someone who already has a strong plumbing and drainage foundation and wants to continue developing their skills while becoming part of a growing team.
